Ohio Wesleyan University Jaywalk

Closed three city blocks to create a series of outdoor rooms supporting student activities.

Deleware, OH | 1994-1996

Located in the heart of the  campus, the closing of three city blocks created an opportunity to create a series of outdoor rooms  that support diverse student activities including a performing arts garden, student forum and art garden.  A bio-retention swale was created along with a grove of botanically diverse maples to demonstrate environmental systems and to sustainably and economically manage stormwater.
